VENETO PADEL CUP 2021

1 JUNE PRESENTATION/EXHIBITION

The Veneto Padel Cup Presentation and Exhibition was held over two days – March 31 and June 1, 2021. On the first day, eight members of Italy’s national padel team played exhibition games in front of 200 spectators and were interviewed live by Sky Sports TV. The second day started with a press conference with organizers and the Mayor of Treviso, and several VIPs were also present.
The day ended with a private social event that followed COVID guidelines. The tournament set the foundation for padel’s growth and popularity in the region. Thanks to all partners involved, and we look forward to continued collaboration.

Diatoms, Master, and Open

VENETO PADEL CUP 27 SEP – 3 OCT, 2021

The first Veneto Padel Cup tournament took place from September 27 to October 3, 2021, with an Open and Master’s Tournament.
The Open Tournament was only accessible to athletes not ranked in the top 300 of World Padel Tour’s official rankings, with a prize pool of €20,000 equally divided between men’s and women’s divisions.
The Master’s Tournament was accessible to athletes not ranked in the top 50, with a prize pool of €80,000 equally divided between men’s and women’s division
The finals were held at the Kioene Arena in Padova, with Barahona and Ramiro Moyano emerging as the winners.

At the end of the Master an exclusive party was held in the Skyline Rooftop Bar, on the eight floor terrace of the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice

FIP PLATINUM (2022)

In 2022, the Veneto Padel Cup (VPC) and Federación Internacional de Pádel (FIP) announced a collaboration for a new ranked tournament as part of the Cupra FIP tour. The tournament had a minimum prize pool of €100,000, and provided the opportunity for athletes to earn official rankings points.
The initiative was the first FIP Platinum event in history, and has since served as the foundation for other successful Platinum events. The finals of the VPC 2022 FIP Platinum were held at the Zoppas Arena in Conegliano from 31 August to 4 September, 2022. Gomez Silingo and Belluati were crowned winners.

VENETO PADEL CUP 2022

VPC MASTER (2022)

The VPC Master’s 2022 was a tournament open for all padel athletes with a prize pool of €160,000 (split €100,000 to the men’s division and €60,000 to the women’s division).
Some of the world’s leading players participated in this tournament, and Ramiro Moyano and Francisco Gil were ultimately crowned winners.

The finals of VPC Master 2022 were held at the Zoppas Arena in Conegliano from 7 September to 11 September 2022.

The 2022 Open Tournament qualifications were held at 27 prestigious European clubs and were limited to padel athletes outside of the top 300 rankings for men and women in the WPT. The available prizes included:

Winners of the qualification rounds won an all-expenses-paid trip to Venice where they played for a spot in the top 8

MEMORIES

The top 8 teams won an all-expenses-paid trip to Doha, Qatar which included a professional training session at a clinic organized by PadelIN with coach Ramiro Choya – one of the most esteemed padel coaches globally

The Veneto Padel Cup is an event for Padel enthusiasts and pro players in Italy and worldwide. The first edition was held from 29 Sep to 3 Oct 2021, with 300+ players in the Master and Open categories.
